Some MilitaryRP Class Balancing Ideas

(This thread is just a suggestion, not official, as well as incomplete and is subject to change. Please leave recommendations! )

Overall Class Changes

- All classes have access to the frag grenade, but no other grenade unless specified.

- All classes have a knife.


Heavy Archetype

General Changes

- Remove Support Ammo. Give that to Transport Operators to make them appear to be more of an engineer archetype, since they already have wrenches, shotguns, and SMGs.

- Give heavies like 50 to 100 armor and/or 110 to 150 health, depending on what branch of each military they are on. This will give diversity between the heavies of each squad and give players some more options to play with.

- Make heavies walk and run slower than normal.



U.S. Specific

- Give heavies in some branches Riot Shields.



Taliban Specific




Engineer Archetype (Transport Operators)

[u]General Changes[/u]

- Support Ammo

- Slightly faster wrench repair speed

- 10 to 30 armor

- Limited to pistols, SMGs, and shotguns.

U.S. Specific

- Sentry turret (deals less damage, but you don't have to ride it)

Taliban Specific

- Emplacement turret (deals more damage, but you have to ride it)

Specialist Archetype

General Changes

- Give some sort way to communicate with specialists and leaders of other squads on your team via a secondary radio system that only Specialists, Generals, and Squad Leaders have access to.

- Access to Flash and Smoke grenades.

- Taser

- Specialists in some branches on both sides should have slightly faster movement speed, but don't have hack phone/emp gun.

- Limited to pistols, SMGs, and shotguns

- Gas Mask

U.S. Specific

- Electric Grenade

- EMP Gun

Taliban Specific

- Stun Grenade

- Hack Phone

[b]Medic Archetype[/b]

General Changes

- Movement speed that's equal to and/or faster than some Specialists.

- Slower medics get medkits.

- Faster medics get MREs.

- Limited to pistols and shotguns.

Soldier Archetype

General Changes

- Gas Mask

- Can only use assault rifles and pistols.



U.S. Specific

- (Insert exclusive assault rifles/pistols)

- Throwable Machete

Infantry Archetype

General Changes

- All classes of each branch in this archetype should have the highest movement speed in comparison to any other class archetype.

- Limit to SMGs and shotguns.

- Lower Max. HP to 80 to 90 depending on their movement speed. (Higher speed, lower health)

- Increase jump height depending on movement speed. (Higher speed, higher jump height)

Recon Archetype

General Changes

- Snipers only.

- Demolitionists also have access to all destructive grenades. (Cluster grenades, molotovs, frags, nerve gas, mustard gas, etc.)

Leader Archetype

General Changes

- Access to a secondary radio system that allows them to communicate with generals, specialists, and squad leaders of every squad on their team.

- Access to a system to talk to a specific specialist/squad leader/general.

- Pistols only?

- Exclusive access to high-power pistols like the Desert Eagle and revolvers.

New class: lit god, it's power is to drop a castle bravo bomb on the map and kill everyone except taliban cuz allah u know and it spawns indian tech support scammers that work in it to kill all remaining survivors

this doesn't even apply to the classes. This is literally all invalid.

Classes do not spawn with weapons, also having them spawn with grenades is retarded. Its point shop based.

You do realize that some classes are restricted to using specific types of weapons, right? Even in the point shop they can't use some of the guns because of their class.
